Of course, these trees will eventually "get with the program" and we will have leaves all over the snow. But as far as we are concerned, the rakes are put away and the wind will have to do its part to disperse these to other yards and neighborhoods!

Must be a pin oak. We have one in our front yard here in Oregon and its leaves stay on the tree and turn brown. They finally fall off about the time the new green ones are ready to take their place in spring. It's just the way pin oaks do things, we learned by reading up on them.
