Bugs and More August '11

This is what our entryway looks like many times. Shoes OFF! This will become a tradition in our home.

We love seeing thing like this as we go around. Japanese know how to celebrate!

The wedding center across the street - this time decorated with balloons!

Anyone interested in this?

We took a visit to the National Museum of Nature and Science. I think the kids will like looking at these pictures.

This is a giant squid!

And you can skim through these - I took them for Dan!

Loved this sign!

There was a hands-on section for kids (of all ages)!

This is a group that was playing instruments at the open air market. It was blazing hot but they were entertaining us all.

And some jugglers.

This poor homeless man was asleep on the walkway as we went along.

While the men went to a Priesthood meeting, we sisters had our own meal together at our apartment.

Then I made them tie two quilts while we visited!

Natalia loved the pics of the animals. Then we got to the bugs and she walked away and said, "Eh, you should show those to Daddy. He'll like those." :) I thought it was funny when you told me that everyone wondered why you were taking so many pictures of the bugs. Little do they know who your SIL is. Believe me, he'll be drooling over these.

Great pictures, except for those boring bugs! :-) You sure are making a lot of great memories. I wonder how the carpet cleaners stay in business there. All that taking your shoes off before you enter the home has got to put a damper on business! My family does their best around here to keep our carpets ready for cleaning at all times! (We'll get them trained for your house!)
