Happy 33 to Kim!

Tomorrow, May 30, Kim will be 33! I was 33 in 1976 when she was born - our Bi-Centennial baby! She was blessed on July 4, 1976 on the 200th birthday of our country.

Here she is as a baby - cute and round and chubby. She was our fourth child and evened up our family to two boys and two girls. (Two more girls would join us later.)
Kim was a wonderful child and a great student. She had lots of friends and was fun to be around. She graduated from Brigham Young University and taught 2nd grade in Provo for about 5 years. In the meantime, she met and married Steve Asp.
She got her masters degree from Utah State University while going through a difficult first trimester of pregnancy with Emily. When Emily was a baby, Kim stopped teaching and began her preschool - Let's Learn Preschool in the basement of their home in American Fork. It has been very successful. Miss Kim is a wonderful teacher and has given many little ones a chance to have a great start to their school years by providing an econominal choice for parents.

Now, there are three little Asp girls - all E's! Emily is 6, Ella is 4 and Eden is 4 months.
Kim, we love you! You are a schemer and a dreamer but a very practical one. You have ideas that you actually make come alive. Your abilities and talents never cease to amaze us as your parents. Happy Birthday!

Aahh - this was a fun surprise! What a great way to start my birthday. Thanks mom! I REALLY couldn't imagine having two (or three) more kids now. These kids wear my old body out! Thanks for reminding me of some fun moments in my life!
