May 21st '11 Nagoya Trip Part 1
We stayed at the Marriott in Nagoya when we visited for 4 zone conferences.
We were on the 29th floor - looking out over a beautiful big city - the 4th largest in Japan.

Dr. and Sister Goth - the medical advisers who travel with us. They are nearing the end of their mission.
And here we are!
Sweet sister that we knew from the Tokyo Mission. She was Sister Hooker's companion.
One of the many meals we ate - this one was prepared by the Relief Society.
Sister Clark - her parents live in Tokyo in our District.
"...how beautiful upon the mount are the feet ..."

Some elders wanted a picture of us and Elder Ishii, an area seventy who travelled with us.
Taken from the van as we travelled 3+ hours to another zone. This is the Sea of Japan.
Sunset!
From a display in the hotel.

Waiting - a common occurrence!
Some of the pots in the kitchen after one of the lunches.
This was on the bulletin board - EFY is coming for the first time to Japan!

Gross!! Can't believe they ate the poisonous fish!!
Love the scenery--the ocean and the gardens. So pretty. Cool about EFY going there! We just saw the huge aquarium in Vegas. There was a huge puffer fish there but I never imagined eating one. Gross!
Sorry I'm behind on commenting! I loved these pictures though! The picture of you and Dad in front of the hotel is so cute- what awesome parents and examples you are to us. I miss you guys! I loved the pictures of the beautiful sunsets and sunrises, the feet of the Elders, the crazy things they eat, the amazing city sights, the EFY picture, and the pictures of the all the wonderful missionaries you are surrounded by. Rissy looked at it with me and said: "Eww! I hate fish!" :) I'm glad you had a great time at your 4 zone conferences!
We think of you both often and are still missing the great experience in the Asia North Area! We had dinner with Don and Joy Rich the other night as we were traveling thru UT. They are excited to return to Tokyo!! You will LOVE having them back! Thanks for keeping us in the loop!
God bless!
Jeanne
