As Time Goes By ...
Forty three years ago on November 24th, we were married! Don't we look young? It was the best thing that ever happened to me and the thing that has made all the difference. We have had a wonderful life together. Six wonderful people came into our lives. They have brought in twenty six others. The family is what makes life meaningful.

Happy anniversary tomorrow! I know we are all grateful for you and Dad. Thank you for finding each other and for all that you do for us now. We have all been lucky to learn from your examples.
Happy anniversary Mom & Dad. Thanks for being such wonderful parents. Most of your kids (5 out of 6) turned out great!
Thanks a LOT Chris! I don't think I turned out THAT badly.
Anyway, Happy Anniversary Mom & Dad. We love you and appreciate all you have done and continue to do for us. Must have been weird getting married in the days when everything was in black and white. At least the bridesmaid dresses were easy to match to the rest of the decor.
Happy Anniversary! I hope the day is great!! Your wedding pictures look just like my parents' pictures, especially the bridesmaids! Love it! I hope you have many more fun-filled and happy years together!
Happy Anniversary from us as well! I'm impressed that you were able to import those wedding pictures! Thanks for your wonderful example and all you do for us!
Dad responds:
Don't I have a beautiful bride? I remain smitten to this day!
Mark, you can understand now why color blindness is such a recent phenomenon.
Chris, Mom and I are convinced we have 6 wonderful and impressive children...unless you have some inside information you wish to share with us?!
And all of you, it is wonderful children and friends as well who inevitably amplify the beauty of our marriage. Thanks!
That was so fun to see those pictures again. What happy memories. When I was little, I actually did think you and Dad lived in black and white back then! :)
You are such a beautiful bride, Mom! You have that classic, natural beauty. Dad, you were actually pretty cute too! I hope you had a wonderful anniversary- I can't believe it's been so many years. I am so blessed to have such amazing parents who have presented such a fantastic example of a happy marriage and true love.
It's so romantic that Dad is still smitten by you every day, Mom! It's really sweet how you met and I will always remember the funny story of how your first date was a roommate dinner date and Mom spilled jello on her lap. But I think we've all had our share of your BYU dating and "necking" stories... :) You better be careful, if you said that these days, people would think Dad was a vampire!
I agree that you have had a wonderful life together and hope to do the same with my sweet hubby and adorable children. And Chris, I am by far the craziest, weirdest Gibson child! Thanks for sharing this and teaching us what a true, eternal marriage of love, joy, and family is.
Happy Anniversary! Great pictures! I love seeing Jeannie and Colleen so young!
