October 12th

Sister Fillmore's birthday - we celebrated at Cicada (a restaurant). They made this fun dessert for her. This is the wedding center! No, it wasn't vandals that did this. It was another shooting for the TV show (remember the Dog Salon). They put up these boards and shot more night scenes for the show.
It was so fun to watch the preparations and shooting. The senior missionaries made cookies and treats for the TV staff and actors and I think they really were surprised and delighted. It was a good way to build relationship with them. The Church also allowed them to put a spotlight up on the 7th floor of the office building so they could shoot the night scenes.
We invited some of the young girls over to dinner and to watch the action from our apartment. Here is Risa pretending to be Dr. Gibson!
Bishop Ohoto watching the action out the window while Naoko plays coy.
Momoko doing the dishes for us!
Naoko playing hard to get as I try to get her picture.
Now she cooperates!
Now she doesn't!
The missionaries are at the church!
I would love to dress my grandaughters in these dresses! We pass by some very high end shops with the cutest clothes for little girls.
It's getting to be winter - at least in the shop windows. However, it is still beautiful weather here.
Another cute dress and a little bear all dressed up.
I love seeing the fashions here - very classy!

I don't even want to guess how much those dresses must cost!

Looks like the Japanese people love you guys. How couldn't they?

Love all the pictures! Those dresses were cute! I like the Japanese art - that getting dressed one was neat. That would be cool to see in all different cultural clothes!
