These dresses are what the Koreans wear on special occasions. We went to a district where they sold the fabrics for these. The intricate work was just unbelievable on some that I saw. Many of them were for weddings.

April 30th '11 More Shopping in Korea
BY THE WAY - I also have another blog which shows up down two posts. I had saved it in drafts and when I went to publish it, that is where it ended up. So check it out too.

Here is a woman who had a little stall and she kindly let me take her picture.

You know how Americans always make fun of the Japanese tourists who always have a camera on them and are always snapping photos? Well . . . nevermind.
Looks like you were in Heaven there Mom! I'm guessing Dad and "the guys" were hanging out at the Korean equivalent of The Home Depot.
Mom- it's your dream store! :) I'm glad you enjoyed your ladies day out. So fun to see the culture of Korea and their beautiful dresses and creations. I think you were meant to be on this mission! :)
I love the gray and brown big special occasion dress. It's beautiful. I can't believe that store--look at all those little girl dresses!
What a find! I would love to visit that shop
