Tidbits

Adorable little Claire in her new Korean outfit. This is Michelle Andrews Johnson's little daughter at District Conference. They had just returned from a trip to Korea. Coming home from the Broadcast, I snapped this picture out of the van window. These two were stopped at a light.
Want to go to Heaven? Maybe not!
This is where I got my hair cut. The lady spoke English and did a good job. The prices here for haircuts are sky high. This was one of the more reasonable places - about $40. But, I got treated like a queen with hot towel on my face, warm towels around my neck, a blow dry style and a massage of my neck and shoulders and arms when my hair was finished. Plus, it was within walking distance!!
These are a type of radish at the food stand. Notice how nicely everything is packaged.
These watermelons were the small variey - only about $10 each!
Apples - just $.78 each. We buy these every few days.
I wanted to show you how the garbage is covered to keep the crows and animals out of it. These mesh tarps are rolled up and tied until the next garbage day.
In Japan, everything is art! Here is a manhole cover!
These decorative tiles were along the pathway where I walked today.

Wow, it's a wonder everyone doesn't have long hair with those prices.
