Walking to Roppongi

Yesterday we walked up to Roppongi Dori (think Loppongi Street) to the Mori Tower which is such a landmark for us. I wasn't sure about the spelling on this sign (in English) but took it for Dustin and Dave. And more wonderful Japanese cuisine.
This one is for Dan - a huge spider statute on the plaza. I guess it is a favorite meeting place for people. You can't miss it!
There is even an egg sac.
A waterwall made the hot day seem cooler as it cascaded down.
A view of the Tokyo Tower from the Mori Tower plaza.
And this is the Mori Tower.
This was a display in a shop window (in an exclusive area). I thought of Joyce Smith when I saw it and knew she would love it.
Not sure of the purpose of this but it gave shade and may have been a fan or part of the air conditioning. Reminded me of a space ship.
I loved the way the shadows fell on this beautiful landscaping.
I think this was a TV studio - had all the cartoon characters in the window.
This shop was just opening. They had the most gorgeous fabric there in all sorts of colors. I went to touch one on the pieces and was told, "No touch". So, I didn't try to buy anything! You have just got to feel fabric.
An example of art along the sidewalk. We did get lost coming home but managed to find our way. The streets are NOT labeled on the map and they are NOT in a grid.
