100 Yen Quilt
Now that you know what a yen is, I will explain this quilt. Each piece in this quilt was bought at the 100 yen store (like the Dollar Store). So that means that each printed fabric cost about a dollar. The white background was also purchased at the yen store but there was enough for about 3 blocks in each piece. There are 12 blocks so this quilt cost approximately 1600 yen to make plus the navy blue framing material which was about 600 yen at another store. So this quilt is really my 2200 yen quilt! I am hoping to get some backing fabric and batting and be able to tie it for a humanitarian project. It did keep me busy for a while! It will look great when tied with navy yarn.
I miss my stash of fabrics!
