July 30th
You will think that all we do is eat and go fun places. Actually, we do a lot of that. Here is Dad at Hanamasa checking out. He got in the shortest line first only to find out that they didn't take credit cards on that one. So he had to take everything over to the LONG line. Good thing he is patient!
Here is our luncheon for Sister Dimick (white hair). We went to Outback in Roppongi.
We had these two darlings over for a meal - Momoko and Emi. They work in the PBO as secretaries to President Stevenson and Elder Wada (the new DTA).
And here are Risa and Naoko who joined us for dinner last night before we all went to our temple shift.
This was my project yesterday. I bound these quilts that the stake RS president had given me. The were already tied.
Can you see the cute stitching that my machine does?
Today, I am preparing my RS lesson for tomorrow. It will be based on the same talk I gave to the workers at a devotional last month - "Patterns For Our Lives". We are also having two couples over for dinner tomorrow. I am going to make lasagna but it has turned out to be quite an ordeal. We have shopped at several stores for noodles (finally found some - this is going to be an expensive meal). The noodles are about half the size of the ones I am used to and cost about 3 times as much. Then we couldn't find cottage cheese. Sister Watabe told me to use tofu and just drain the liquid off. We finally found frozen spinich. Sister Dimick had given us a big bottle of Prego so that is why we decided on lasagna. I will have to let you know how it turns out!

Oooh! Let me know if the tofu works. Do you know how many years I've been craving lasagna and couldn't make it b/c of the cottage cheese? Mmm.
